  2. Fast Facts • Sean Patrick McCarthy • My mom’s sister’s husband (uncle) • Born Dec. 8, 1969 in Hamilton Ontario, Canada • Lives Villanova PA,

  3. Living the Stripes (Self-Control) My uncle showed gratitude when he was thinking about World WarII and in his head he was thanking his dad and everyone who was in the war and fought for us and our freedom.

  4. Place lived My ancestor liked living in Boston. He lived there from 1996 to 2002. He loves Boston because he got married in Boston and had his first child in Boston. His first child's name was Elizabeth. He can still remember the day coming home with new baby Elizabeth.

  5. Motto You can never quit. You don’t have to re-enlist but you can never quit. Here is a story that made my uncle my uncle. My uncle was 12 when he started playing football. He didn't like it so one day he went to the park instead of practice. If his dad hadn't found out, he wouldn't have a wife or 4 kids. Because when his dad found him, he said you don’t have to re-enlist but you can never quit, which means you don’t have to sign up next year but you can’t quit this year.

  6. Motto Continued… He finished the season and ended up loving it. He played the next season and the next season. Then, he got a scholarship to Colgate College. He met his wife. He totally remembers sitting at the phone waiting to get the call the school offering him the scholarship.

  7. 3rd Grade When he was in third Grade he had two best friends Sean Sullivan and Jordan Gross. He loved basketball and baseball. His favorite subject was History. That year he got lice with his friend and they had to shave their heads. So they wore hats to school. His friend wore a LA Rams hat and my uncle wore a Pittsburgh Steeler’s hat. That year was his last year at Burtdale Elementary because it closed.

  8. Advice From My Uncle TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.
