Features • The tasmanian devil is the largest surviving carnivorous marsupial in Australia • It has a squat and thick build, with a large head and tail which is about half its body length • Devils can run up to 13km per hour for short distances • Males are usually larger than females • The devil stores fat in its tail, so unhealthy devils often have thin tails • It was the inspiration for the Loony Toones cartoon character „Taz”

Features • It is a slow moving filter feeding shark, the largest fish species • The largest confirmed individual had a length of 12.65 metres • It has a capacious mouth hich can be up to 1.5 metres wide and can contain between 300 and 350 rows of tiny teeth. • The body is mostly grey with a white belly. • Not an efficient swimmer since it uses its entire body when swims
