  1. Welcome August 27,2019 Sign in at the front! Please sit near the front and middle of the room! Please silence your phones!

  2. Ice Breaker • Sit Down If... • Everyone stand up! • Anna will say something random, such as, " pink shirt." • If the statement applies to you, then sit down. • The last person standing gets a prize!

  3. I solemnly promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, and as an active member, I shall strive to develop the qualities necessary in becoming a responsible business leader.

  4. 2019-2020 Officers • Anna Maryniak is District 2 Vice President and she will be running the meeting today. • Chapter officers will be announced at the next meeting.

  5. Future Business Leaders of America Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

  7. Perks of Being an Active and Competing FBLA Member • You get to attend District automatically if you compete, and then State and National competitions if you qualify! • State is in Charleston, SC • Nationals last year was held in San Antonio, TX. This year it will be in Salt Lake City, UT.

  8. Nationals 2018-2019 • Located in San Antonio, TX • Congratulations to Tiara Missey, Kamora Johnson, and DezmondChaveous on placing 5th at nationals in Social Media Campaign! • Congratulations to Kaylee Morris for completing the America level of BAA!

  9. Competitive Events • There is an event for You! • Chapter, Team and Individual Events • Speaking and Tests • See what you want to do at www.fbla-pbl.org • Competitions are a way for you to build business skills, as well as spend time with your friends!
