  1. II CORINTHIANS 4:17-18 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

  2. NOT LOSING HEART!

  3. II CORINTHIANS 4:1 4 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.

  4. HOW NOT TO LOSE HEART: 1. Focus on Christ not yourself.

  5. II CORINTHIANS 4:2 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

  6. II CORINTHIANS 4:5 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

  7. HOW NOT TO LOSE HEART: 2. Boast about your weaknesses.

  8. II CORINTHIANS 12:5 5 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses.

  9. II CORINTHIANS 4:7 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

  10. HOW NOT TO LOSE HEART: 3. Walk by faith not by sight.

  11. II CORINTHIANS 4:17-18 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

  12. II KINGS 6:16 16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

  13. II CORINTHIANS 5:7 7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

  14. II CORINTHIANS 4:16 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

  15. I CORITHIANS 15:55 55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

  16. NOT LOSING HEART!
