THE BEGINNING OF THE END… • The Rapture => The world is thrown into chaos. • The Antichrist rises to power (in Europe ???). Leads a 10 government confederacy • Russia and other nations invade Israel. Gog / Magog… • To take a spoil – Oil ??? Before or After the covenant is signed ??? • God defends Israel and destroys all but 1/6th of the invading force. • 1/4th of the world’s population die as a result of this war. • Rev 6:1-2 Riders on the White and the Red Horse • Anti-christ comes to power enforcing peace – but soon there is War on the earth…. • A covenant (or treaty) is confirmed by the Antichrist with Israel (and others). • Confirmation of this covenant with Israel begins the time period know as the “Tribulation Period”; • Daniel’s 70th Seven begins. The Tribulation is 7 biblical years; divided into 2 halves. • 1,260 days, 42 biblical months (30 days each), 3 ½ biblical years • 1st half: The Time of Jacob’s Trouble / The Beginning of Sorrows • Forms and reforms His political power base pulling down 3 of his 10 ‘horns’ • Is ‘assassinated’ and restored to life – The 2 Witnesses are ‘killed’ • Destroys the ‘Old Religions’ and substitutes worship of himself as God… • Midpoint: “Abomination that causes desolation” • 2nd half: The Great Tribulation / The Wrath of God is poured out • Anti-Christ still has political troubles and wars to fight; enemies to subdue • Targets Israel and the New Believers • Nations move on Israel to put down Anti-christ’s rule but seeing the impending return of the Lord Jesus Christ; ally themselves to fight the Lord. The armies are destroyed at Armageddon. • Jesus judges the nations - The Millennium begins Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

Check your watches at the door… • The “Tribulation” does not begin immediately following the Rapture. • Note: Following Rev 3, there are no more admonishments to the Church to “Watch” – Why ??? Rev 4 ushered the “Church” to the Throne in Heaven. • The beginning of the Tribulation is signaled by some sort of covenant (or treaty, or agreement) being confirmed. The Antichrist, Israel, and others are involved – • Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. • Before this covenant can be confirmed (signed or agreed to), the Antichrist must be revealed (come onto the world scene) and establish himself as a world leader. • Rev 6:1-2 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. • How long from the Rapture to the confirmation of the covenant between the Antichrist and Israel?" How much longer Daddy ??? • How long between the “Rapture” and the beginning of the “Tribulation” ??? • …somewhere from one day to perhaps several years. • Jesus gives us a clue in Matt 24: • Mat 24:32 - 36 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. A Note on 2 Thes 2:3 • G646 apostasia ap-os-tas-ee'-ah • departure from, “apostasy”: falling away, forsake. • Only twice in KJV: 2 Th 2:3 = falling away, Acts 21:21 = forsake, • Acts 21:21And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. • “the falling away”, “forsaking” or “apostasy,” Who is forsaking what? • Matthew 24:10-12 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. • John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. • These describe decisions and conditions not forsaking of previous positions • Could this event we have called the ‘apostasy’ and thought was associated with a ‘forsaking’ and ‘falling away’ from truth really refer to the ‘forsaking’ of the earth by the Church; the ‘departure’ of the Church from the earth ??? • Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, • except there come a falling away first, …. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. • anti-: Opposed to; against or Something substituted for, replacing or attempting to take the place of another • Vicar: Etymology: Middle English vicar, vicair, viker, from Late Latin vicarius, from Latin, substitute, deputy, from vicarius, adjective, substituting, delegated, vicarious • Something done by one person who is substituting for another. Acting or serving in place of someone or something else; substituted; a human representative or agent of God on earth • Who is the ‘Vicar or Christ’? What organization does the ‘Vicar of Christ’ lead? Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

The Coming World Leader • Most of what we know is from the Old Testament. • Many of the references are rather subtle . • Some believe this leader will be a Jew: • Eze 21:25-27; Eze 28:2-10 (of the circumcision); • Dan 11:86,37; John 5:43 (allos, not heteros: thus, a Jew, not a Gentile.); • He is easily received by Israel, John 5:43; • The Leader will be the seed of Satan: • Gen 3:15; Isa 27:1; Eze 28:12-19; Rev 13. • Some believe he is Judas Iscariot reincarnated: Psa 55:11-14; • Death & Hell: Isa 28:18, Rev 6:8; Matt 12:41-43; John 17:12; • 2 Thes 2:3; Acts 1:25, with Rev 11:7 Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

The Coming World Leader • He will be: • An intellectual genius: Dan 7:20; 8:23; Eze 28:3. • An pursuasive orator: Dan 7:20; Rev 13:2. • A shrewd political manipulator: Dan 11:21. • A successful commercial genius: Dan 8:25; Rev 13:17;Psa 52:7; • Dan 11:38, 43; Eze 28:4,5. • A forceful military leader: Dan 8:24; Rev 6:2; • Rev 13:4; Isa 4:16. • A powerful organizer: Rev 18:1,2; 17:17. • A unifying religious guru: 2 Thes 2:4 ("Allah"?); • Rev 13:3, 14, 15. • Also: Ps 10, 52, 55; Is 10,11,13,14; Jer 49-51; Zech 5; Rev 18. Antichrist: Who is that masked man ??? • SATAN...MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT • 2 Cor. 11:14 … for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. • Anti-christ: son of Satan, THY SEED - (literal or figurative???) • Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. • Also check out Genesis 6 again – ‘sons of God’ / ‘daughters of men’, etc. • Jesus returns at the close of the Tribulation on a white horse. • Rev 19:11-13 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. • The white horse and rider in Rev 6 is not to be confused with one in Rev 19. The Great Imposter: Iron and Clay Daniel 2, 9 • Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. • This was the Roman Empire in 70-130 AD. • Nebuchadnezzar’s image confirms this, as do many other visions in Daniel and passages in the Revelation. • Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. • Daniel 2:40-43 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. [41] And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Rainbow: Symbol of Peace • A Crown was given to Him: • elected to position ??? Authority surrendered to him as in Martial Law: or as in a Supreme Allied Commander during War • Went forth to conquering: • via charisma, a diplomat; conquered by words rather than military force and forced servitude • And to Conquer: • It was his purpose to take control and rule everywhere He went Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

Surprises come because you don’t expect them…1 Thes 5:1-11 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord JesusChrist, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. Antichrist Confirms The CovenantThe Tribulation Begins • This day (day one of the Tribulation) is a special date. • Some form of a covenant, treaty, or agreement will be confirmed for seven years. • The two main parties involved that are mentioned in the Scriptures are Israel and the Antichrist. • Others will also be included, but who they are is not certain. • The provisions of this agreement are not made clear in the Scriptures, however, it appears, it may be some form of peace treaty of protection agreement. • The exact day that this covenant is confirmed, or enforced, is the first day of the Tribulation. • Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. • Isa 28:14-22 …15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:…. Isa 28:14-20  God Warned Israel — The Agreement Will Not Stand • God tells Israel, regarding the covenant with the Antichrist, • Isa 28:14-20 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem! 15 Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol (the place of the dead) we have an agreement -- when the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter. • Check the promise of God in vs 16-17. • The agreement that Israel thought would be their protection is going to be their downfall. • Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol (the place of the dead) shall not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you will be trodden down by it. 19 As often as it passes through, it [the enemy's scourge] will take you; for morning by morning will it pass through, by day and by night. And it will be utter terror merely to hear and comprehend the report and the message of it [but only hard treatment and dispersion will make you understand God's instruction]. • For those that understand what has happened, for those that can understand the report (or message), it will bring sheer terror. The fulfillment of this prophecy appears to happen at this point. • Isa 28:20 For [they will find that] the bed is too short for a man to stretch himself on and the covering too narrow for him to wrap himself in. [All their sources of confidence will fail them.] • Their covenant with Antichrist represents the bed they’ve made for themselves. The bed is too short. It will not accomplish the purpose that Israel thought it would. It will not save them. It cannot protect them. The covering that is supplied by the Antichrist is too narrow. A person cannot wrap himself in it for protection. The only true protection a person can really have is Jesus. All other beds are too short, and all other coverings are too narrow. All other coverings will pass away. Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

ANTICHRIST TAKES OVER • An extremely proud, boastful, intimidating, imposing person. He is unique. • He arises out from from among ten kings, rulers, or representatives who yield to him their authority and power. • Most believe these kings represent the European Union or at least what it will become… • He takes over and becomes the confederations leader. • This puts him in the position to confirm (or sign) the covenant (or agreement, or treaty) with Israel and others. • At the time he is taking over or at some time shortly thereafter, he plucks up, causes to fall, or overthrows three kings (rulers or representatives of nations). • ??? because they oppose him in some way ??? • The ten kings, or rulers, have not yet received a kingdom and have not yet begun to rule, but will receive authority as kings for ‘one hour’ with the Antichrist. • They hand over their power or authority to the Antichrist. Daniel 7:1-6 > 3 Beasts • [1] In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. • [2] Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, • behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. • [3] And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. • [4] The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. • [5] And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. • [6] After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. The Four Winds (Jer 49:36) And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. (Eze 37:9) Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. The 4th Kingdom • # 4: HIS LEGS OF IRON, HIS FEET PART OF IRON AND PART OF CLAY and TOES OF THE FEET – Dan 2:33 and Dan 2:40 - 43 • Dan 2:42. The Roman Empire was divided into two parts, approximately 300 A.D. • The city of Rome fell, approximately 476 A.D. • The Roman Empire collapsed, but was not conquered or replaced • Its nations remain(ed) divided in Europe. • Ultimately, European nations that were once part of it will become the ten toed empire (referred to in Daniel) under the Antichrist during the Tribulation. • The ten toes and the ten horns represent the same thing. • It is believed that the European Union will eventually be dominated by 10 governmental entities and will be the federation from which the final empire of the Antichrist will arise. • SAW IN THE NIGHT VISIONS - Dan 7:7 Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

Daniel 7:9-14 > Jesus Christ Takes Over • [9] I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: • his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. • [10] A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: • thousand thousands ministered unto him, and • ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and • the books were opened. • [11] I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: • I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. • [12] As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: • yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. • [13] I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. • [14] And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. How Long Will The Antichrist Continue In Power? • Daniel 7:25 … and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. • [3 ½ years: time – single, times – double, dividing of time – ½ ] • Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. • Rev. 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. • Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. • The Antichrist shall reign for 3 1/2 years, or 42 months, or 1260 days, until the end of the time that is determined for him to reign. • Daniel 11:36 …and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished:for that that is determined shall be done. Rev 12:7-9 – War in Heaven…War on Earth • Rev 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. • Satan, the ‘great dragon’ is furious. He knows that he has only a short time left. Satan makes war against the saints. • The ‘abomination of desolation’ occurs. An image of the Antichrist is set up on a wing of the temple. Those that will not worship it will be beheaded. The temple is defiled or made unholy. The Antichrist will make war with the tribulation saints who are given into his hand for the final 3 ½ years.. • Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. • Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. • Mar 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. Rev 13:1-3 > ANTICHRIST: The Beast out of the Sea • [1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and • saw a beast rise up out of the sea, • having seven heads and ten horns, and • upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. • [2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and • his feet were as the feet of a bear, and • his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and • the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. • [3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and • his deadly wound was healed: and • all the world wondered after the beast. • (Zec 11:17) Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall beupon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. Antichrist Is ‘Killed’ But Comes Back To Life • Antichrist ‘dies’ due to a wound in his head and right arm caused by some sort of a weapon that scripture calls a sword. It is speculated that someone assassinates him. • Remember, Satan has been cast down out of heaven and having been defeated again, knows his time is short. • Antichrist is indwelt by some Satanic spirit and ‘comes back’ to life. • The majority of the astonished world follows the Antichrist blindly. • He declares himself to be God. • The world will worship Satan, who is giving power to the Antichrist • They will worship the Antichrist openly • They will be fully persuaded that the Antichrist is really the true Christ, and that Satan is really God. • They will viciously hunt down and put death all unbeleivers in the same way Islam does today – by beheading. • Anti-christ moves into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and stopping Judaism’s sacrifices to God. He sits in the Holy Places proclaiming himself to be god. • This point marks the midpoint, 1,260 days from the end of the Tribulation. • Satan craves worship. He said, I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH - Isa 14:14. Cf: Ezek 28 • He offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, if He would fall down and worship him - Matt 4:9. • Satan, the great counterfeit, seeks the worship that is reserved for God the Father. Worship Of Satan And The Antichrist • John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. • Satan craves worship.. • Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. • Ezekiel 28:12-19 …. • Matthew 4:9-10 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. • [10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. • Satan is still seeking to receive the worship that is only reserved for God the Father. • 2 Thes 2:3 … that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. • Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. • He will rule for a short time. His rule through Anti-christ will only last 1260 days. • He will then yield ALL the kingdoms of the world to our Lord Jesus. Acts 17:11 1 Thes 5:21

Antichrist Blasphemes God • The Antichrist shall speak proud or arrogant words. • He can be expected to accuse God of all manner of things. • He will blaspheme and speak great things against the God of heaven that have never been heard. • He will slander His name, His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. • Rev. 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. • Rev. 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. • Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. • Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. He Has Satan’s Power And Does Signs And Lying Wonders • Antichrist originally comes as a result of the working of Satan. • It is through Satan that he has his power, position, and authority. • He has power to work all kinds of false miracles. • He is able to do things that are beyond human ingenuity and ability. • He is able to do supernatural feats. • His power will be mighty. • People will be amazed. Through these miracles, people will be fully persuaded that he really is God; really the Christ. • 2 Thes. 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, • These are to persuade or deceive people into believing that the Antichrist is really God and is speaking the truth. • Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. • Rev. 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. • Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. • Rev. 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Antichrist Moves Into The Temple In Jerusalem He Proclaims That He Is God— He Exalts Himself • The ‘risen’ Antichrist moves into the temple in Jerusalem.
