Attendance Server Intro • This system is intended to gather the official attendance for 802.11 for this session. • There are four steps to using this system, only one of which is recurring – the first three are onetime. • Prior to or during the meeting • (one time) Get a free Web Account if you don’t already have one • (one time) Register your Interest Areas in myProject if you haven’t done so already (it’s up to you to keep this updated as needed) • During the Meeting • (one time) Set up your meeting profile • (Each Meeting Breakout) Register your attendance and affiliation Harry Worstell, AT&T

  20. Step 3 – Select your Interest Areas • Drill Down to the areas in which you have an interest by clicking on “+” to expand that group • Begin by Scrolling Down and Expanding Computer Society by pressing + Harry Worstell, AT&T

  31. Step 4a: Register Your Attendance • For each 2 hour meeting you attend at the session, log into http://newton.events.ieee.org/imat/ • Then select the IEEE 802.11 WG. • The first time you do this, you will be asked for your affiliation Harry Worstell, AT&T

Step 4b: Supply your Affiliation • You must provide an affiliation and agree to participate in a professional manner in order to receive credit for your attendance. • You will be asked your affiliation once for the WG and once again for each unique TG or SG you attend. If your company is not in the dropdown list, please type it into the text field provided Harry Worstell, AT&T

Step 4c: Select the Breakout • Select the Day and 2 hour meeting you are attending and update the screen • Note that you will only be able to click a single radio button in the active timeslot column for the current day • Once updated, the column will turn red and your selection will be locked in. • The update button will change to reset • If you wish to change your selection, click reset and reselect and update again • Selections may not be changed once the timeslot closes • Repeat Step 4 for each distinct meeting you attend Harry Worstell, AT&T
