HOW TO WRITE AN INTRODUCTION • Begin to narrow down your topic in the direction of your main idea. • It always takes several, if not many, sentences to narrow down a topic. • When you get to the main topic you will be discussing, use a thesis statement or a topic sentence to summarize what you will be writing about.

Although having a savvy can be exciting and helpful, sometimes that same savvy can cause serious problems for both the individual and the family.
