Lern@Haus • The project "Lern@Home" helps seniors to familiarize themselves with the computer and the Internet and provides them with a chance of extending their knowledge and skills by collaborative learning. • The project focuses on empowerment and active inclusion of seniors in the knowledge and information society.

Lern@Haus • Two Online-Courses (basic and advanced courses) are offered throughout Germany from Institute for Innovation in Learning together with 13 "multigenerational houses". • Up to 140 participants try out dealing with computer and internet in virtual classrooms. • The learning content is ideally adjusted to the specific needs of the Seniors and to the framework conditions of the "multigenerational houses". Lern@Haus • an aim of the project is to gain experience on how to implement new methods of learning (e-learning) in "multigenerational houses". • objective of this courses is: • to expand the scope of action of older citizens by helping them to acquire new skills, in order to enable this target group to actively participate in the information and knowledge society. Lern@Haus • With ILI senior citizen can test: • a new type of learning • and participate in online computer courses -e-lerning für senior citizens • Older persons are taught: • computer basics in virtual courses, • Independently from time and space.   8. Lern@Haus • The cources are structured so as to allow participants to learn: • at there own pace, • in there home environment and • whenever it suits them best. Brandenburg 21 Working Group „Living Villages“

Lern@Haus • Supported intensively and individually by online tutors • so the course objectives will definitely be erached and no one is left alone with learning • The learners will help each other mutually as far as possible (via internet) • Thats motivating and consolidatory Brandenburg 21 Working Group „Living Villages“
