  2. The Counterville ghost looks like an old, poor man, but it is obviously a ghost. It's a creation of the famous British author Oscar Wilde,so it’s a literary character. This ghost used to be a man, Sir Simon de Counterville, who murdered his wife. After his death, Sir Simon turned into a ghost, which found it funny to play creepy jokes on the owners of his house. This sorry* ghost isn’t mean by it’s nature. It just likes behaving nasty to prove that it has the ability to terrify humans, as most ghosts do.

  3. The Story • One day, an American family, called the Otis family, decides to move in the Counterville’s house. After this, the ghost tries desperately to scare them, but without results. It gets furious and doesn’t come around again. Finally, the youngest daughter,Virginia,stands by Sir Simon (the ghost) and helps him go to heaven and find peace.

  4. This monster has always fascinated me. After all, despite it’s impolite behavior and it’s bad habits, it was just trying to find peacein death’s arms. THE END
