  1. RNC NOW RN from HOLT • RNC: Read Notes Complete • NOW “RN”: Read Notes • Do not draw t-table • Do not complete PRACTICE NOR SECTION REVIEW • Bullet main points • At least one sentence per paragraph • MAIN POINT is never KEY TERM • Highlight key terms with the definition • Example

  2. Friday 4/22/16 STAMP RN HOLT p312-314 Title: 9-2 Limiting Reactants and Percentage Yield # paragraphs= 7 # KT=2 P312 In other words, the gasoline limits the distance you can travel because it runs out and the reaction in the engine stops. But in the real world, other factors, such as the amounts of all reactants, the completeness of the reaction, and the product lost in the process, can limit the yield of a reaction.

  3. First and last name, period, Chemistry A &B written on front cover of LNB • EVERYTHING IN LNB MUST BE WRITTEN IN BLUE OR BLACK INK • ALL PAGES SHOULD BE NUMBERED • DO NOT tear pages out • If you make an error use one horizontal line to mark out error and write correction above • example and • If anything is pasted in LNB CUT OUT first then paste • DO NOT staple anything

  4. Chemistry Final Project 2nd Draft • Start on a new page • Write your class heading: • Name • Date • Period • Tuesday 3/29/16 • STAMP: • Assignment#1: Topic:#1-6, Career #1-7 • Topic : __________________ • Question: Description • ANSWER: • Career:__________ • Question: Description of Career • ANSWER: • **4 go to career cruising web site and print and paste into LNB

  5. Chemistry Final Project 2nd Draft • Draw a line to separate assignment #1 from #2 • Write your class heading: • name • Date • Period • Monday 4/4/16 • STAMP: • Assignment#2: research experiment and cut out and glue into lab notebook-different expt for each student in group • CW: rank all experiments making #1 your first choice • Write your ranking (#) next to STAMP box • Expt should • Relate to topic and career • Must be completed within 2 period (trials 1-3:4/29, Typing:5/6) • Materials must be able to be received by day 1 of expt

  6. Chemistry Final Project 2nd Draft Draw a line to separate assignment #2 from #3 Write your lab report heading: Name: Group Members: Class Name: Teacher Name: Date: Lab #: Lab Station: Monday 4/11/16 STAMP: Assignment#3: pre-lab Title: Leave 2 lines

  7. Chemistry Final Project 2nd Draft Introductory Paragraph: leave 6-10 lines Problem / Purpose/Objective: Leave 3-4 lines Hypothesis: Leave 3-4 lines Materials: Look at your expt and decide how many lines

  8. Chemistry Final Project 2nd Draft Procedure: Written in 3rd person past tense Ex. Taken from experiment you pasted in LNB Pour 10 mL of water into 150 mL measuring cylinder Written in 3rd person past tense: 10 mL of water was poured into a 150 mL measuring cylinder

  15. CFP-draw data tables in LNB • Use lab guidelines • Read procedure • Label this section DATA/OBSERVATION in LNB • Make table(s) • Number of tables depends on your experiment so • READ the entire PROCEDURE • Each table MUST be numbered and titled • Each table MUST have lines drawn with a ruler • Tables should be empty because you have not done • your experiment yet
