ISUG Activities - 2004 Award Winners • Innovation and Achievement Award • Recognizes outstanding contribution by an individual or an organization to the Sybase user community • Award selection criteria includes the ability of the user community to utilize the technique, product or service • Award recipients receive free TechWave conference pass, air and hotel accommodations

ISUG Activities - 2004 Award Winners • Sethu Meenakshisundaram • In recognition of his tremendous support of the Sybase community through regular contributions to mailing lists and newsgroups, and sharing of technical knowledge and insight to the Sybase user community. Sethu organized a series of webcasts earlier this year on the ASE 15 release and also works year round with the ISUG enhancements process.

  8. ISUG Activities - 2004 Award Winners • Bruce Armstrong • In recognition of his continuous support of the Sybase community by writing articles and books, answering questions in the newsgroups and participation in ISUG techcasts. Bruce has authored several articles for the PowerBuilder Developer's Journal, and serves on their editorial board. He was one of the editors and authors of the book, PowerBuilder 9: Advanced Client/Server Development. Bruce has been using PowerBuilder since version 1.0 and is a charter member of TeamSybase, spending many hours responding to newsgroup questions.

  9. ISUG Activities - 2004 Award Winners • Luc Van der Veurst • In recognition of his 10 years of Support and Participation on the ISUG Board of Directors. Luc joined the board of directors in 1994 as a co-director for enhancements. He has helped maintain the ISUG web site and automated many processes. Luc served as president of ISUG in 1998 and 1999, then as treasurer and is currently as a member at large.
