Methodology • Survey population: the survey represents immigrants who arrived in Israel during the years 1990-2007, and were ages 26 – 74 in 2010 • Survey sample: Sub-Sample of 2008 census sample • The sample frame included about 84,000 immigrants. The survey sample included about 5,100 immigrants. About 4,000 immigrants (80%) responded to the questionnaire • 3 methods of data collecting: regular mail, Internet and CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) MEDSTAT III - 1-5 July 2013

The Main Topics • Basic Demographic Charactaristics age, sex, year of immigration, country of birth • Characteristics of the immigrants before immigration timeEducation, knowledge of Hebrew, occupation • Usage of languages at the time of survey in Israel Speaking and reading of Hebrew, mother tongue and other languages • Education and Occupation at the time of survey MEDSTAT III - 1-5 July 2013
