Three Ways to Narrate Photo Events - Summary • Attach narration to photo in computer • Talking photo – 3 min for each photo • Save to slideshow/album in cloud • Combined photos and narration on computer • Take photo separately • Digitally record narration up to 45 min. • Combined and Save/album to cloud • Use iPad to take photo and attach narration • Up to 3 minutes per photo. • Upload to computer and cloud. • All three can be linked to Family Tree of other websites.

Method 1: Attach Narration to Photo on Computer • Log in to legacystories.org • Click on “My Pict-Orals” tab • Select “Upload New Audio” from the drop down • Fill out the form by adding a Title, selecting the audience, uploading the audio, uploading a picture, typing in keywords, and clicking “Upload and Save”. • Attach the Pict-Oral to an individual in FamilySearch Family Tree by checking the checkbox at the bottom.

  10. Method 2: Combined Photos and Narration on Computer • Log in to legacystories.org • Click on “My Slideshows” tab • Select “Upload Photos” from the drop down • Click “Browse” to navigate to, select, and upload the photos • View the slideshow • Add narrations where desired • Share!

Method 3: Use iPad or Android Device • With the free app you can: • * Create and organize multiple Storytellers and their talking photos.  • * Upload to the LegacyStories family history library to preserve and share • * Describe special keepsakes & heirlooms • * Give voice to ancestors and vintage family photos
