Using Solar Energy . Jordan Perry. Why ?. The using of solar power would be smart to use at Tonopah Valley high school. Reason are that we have direct sunlight majority of the time and we are in the middle of no where so the most or even all solar energy will be powering our school.

  2. Why ? • The using of solar power would be smart to use at Tonopah Valley high school. • Reason are that we have direct sunlight majority of the time and we are in the middle of no where so the most or even all solar energy will be powering our school.

  3. Resources Needed • For our success to power the school we need to have solar panels. • We need a specific spot were going to put the panels. • Solar panels convert the sunlight into energy.

  4. Changes • What we would need to do is put the solar panels on the top of the roofs of all our buildings facing the sun. • We would need are own area for the panels.

  5. Pros & Cons • Pros • Solar gives off no pollution • Solar energy is not a noisy way of powering • Harness remote electricity anywhere • Cons • The prices for the solar panels • Only generates electricity during daylight • The weather can effect the panels as well
