  1. Higgs Physics with ATLAS in Germany Markus Schumacher, University of Siegen ATLAS-Higgs-D-Meeting, Heisenberg Institute, Munich, 28/29.11.06 • possible areas of cooperation • new e-mail list • next meeting(s)

  2. Overlap of Interests  Cooperation? 1st try to identify common interests in Germany starting from presentations at ATLAS-D in Heidelberg and other expressions of interests • forward jets : BN/SI, (DD), MPI, WU • tau tagging: BN, FR, MPI (also for SUSY e.g. in BN) • lepton isolation: FR, LMU • VBF, H ttBN/SI, FR, MPI • H  WW: BN(VBF) ,FR (GGF,VBF,ttH), LMU (GGF,WH), MPI(GGF,VBF) • bbH,Hmm DD, MPI H tt DD, FR, MPI • ttH, Hbb: MPI, WU • SHERPA validation: BN, DD, FR • invisible Higgs: FR (ttH,ZH), BN and DD (VBF) • … … … ??? • other tools (e.g. b-tagging) coordinated in other specific groups apologies for any omissions, please let me know extensions and updates M. Schumacher Higgs Physics in ATLAS-D Heisenberg Institute, Munich, Nov 28th/29th 06

  3. Other Issues • new e-mail list: atlas-higgs-d@cern.ch - up to now: all addresses, which recieved Sandra‘s invitation - newcomers: please contact „schumach@hep.physik.uni-siegen.de“ • next meeting(s): how often, when and where? - proposal: next meeting before start of summer term / early April - additional specilised phone meetings of cooperating groups? • next Higgs-LHC-Workshop at 22./23. January in Wuppertal mainly parallel sessions in three groups: - Higher order MC approaches and their relevance for Higgs at LHC - Higgs couplings and other properties - Higgs bosons in BSM models • AOB ? … … … … … M.
