Universal Studios in Japan • It is referred to as USJ, it is promise to be the rival of Tokyo Disneyland. • Visitors can experience amusement park rides that are based on The Terminator, Back to the Future, and Jaws. USJ also has a number of American restaurants, that are centered on the movie themes. • You may enjoy live action experience with the rides shows, that are also with the movie themes. • Open Hours: M-F 9a-7p; Sa-Su 9a-10p; hols. 8a-10p

The Kiyomizudera • This translates as “ Temple of Pure Water” • People come and pray to find a suitable partner at a Shinto Shrine, located inside the complex. • Built in 798, the temple is a Kyoto landmark and is a must see for visitors. • The main hallway is jointed on the wooden terrace, which gives a great view of the city of Kyoto. • Admission is JPY300 • Open Hours6am-6pm daily.

Japan’s Tokyo Tower • It was constructed in 1958, which soars 333 meters, 13 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower. • There are two views that you can see the Tokyo from, the first is the main observatory which is 150 meters high, and the second is the special observatory, which is 250 meters high. • The tower has 164 lights, which aluminates the tower. In winter the lights make it look like an orange light and in summer it turns white. • Inside the tower visitors will find the Tokyo Tower Wax Museum, the Mysterious Walking Zone, and the Trick Art Museum. • Open Hours Mar 16-Jul 31, Sep 1-Nov15: 9am-8pm daily; Aug 1-31: 9am-9pm; Nov 16-Mar 15: 9am-7pm

  5. Japan’s Asakusa Shrine, Tokyo • The Asakusa Shrine was established in 1649. • The legend had 3 people that were consecrated as gods of the shrine, which earned the nickname Sanja-Sama ( the shrine of the three gods). • It also holds the Sanja Festival in May. • Open Hours 6.30am-5pm daily.

Ueno Park • On top of a hill sits Tokyo’s first public park houses several world-class museums, a popular zoo, shrines, temples, a rental boat lake, historical monuments, and so much more… • Visitors will appreciate the park every season to see the change of all the nature that surrounds the park. • It is open 24 hours a day.

  8. Tokyo Dome City • This place is a tourists dream come true. There is so much to do that tourists cant finish it in a day. • The famous rides there are Thunder Dolphin and Wonder drop. • If tourists want to get pampered or relax, there is a spa. National Museum of Modern Arts • This museum offers a variety of Japanese arts and crafts. • Visitors will be able to see lacquer, metal, and glass work, textiles, ceramics, and bamboo. • Visitors often come back, just to see something new, because the exhibits change frequently. • Prices for entry is 200 yen. • Open Hours10a-5p Tu-Su
