  3. I hear all the time the questions, why do humans do such horrible things to others…but maybe the question should be, why do humans ever do good things for other.

  5. Two ways to do good to other…. Altruism Prosocial behavior Behavior that benefits others or has positive social consequences. To build positive relationships in society. The opposites are aggressive or “anti-social” behavior. • Behavior that benefits another person – sometimes at some costs. • it is non-beneficial or disadvantageous to the individual who performs such a behavior for the benefit of others Distinguish between altruism and prosocial behavior
