About The Collins College: Founded in 1973 in response to the needs of the hospitality industry First and largest program in the state of California Only program in California with a Master of Science in Hospitality Management Public college in the California State University system, yet thrives from a legacy of private support

  3. The college serves about 1,000 diverse students and employs 30 faculty members

Curriculum Polytechnic: Students learn to apply hospitality management theories and concepts to real-world settings Courses: Focus on restaurant management, hotel/resort management, club management, culinary product development, tourism management, and special events/meeting planning Industry alignment: Curriculum is in step with needs of the industry Professional work experience: Students are required to fulfill 800 hours of work experience Scholarship: A teacher-scholar environment creates opportunities for faculty to conduct research and contribute to the market place of ideas
