  2. PRINCIPLE OF PARENTALISM • ONE SHOULD RESTRICT AN INDIVIDUAL’S CHOSEN ACTION AGAINST HIS/HER CONSENT IN ORDER TO PREVENT THAT INDIVIDUAL FROM SELF-HARM, OR TO SECURE FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL A GOOD WHICH HE/SHE MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE ACHIEVE.
