  7. Appendix Original Text: Later when I got to secondary school, the bloom of the Internet gave me lots of chances to practice English. Back in the early 2000s, most of my friends were not familiar with the input methods of Chinese characters so we just chatted in English. Besides, the newly invented online game systems allowed me to play with people all over the world and so English was no doubt the only choice for communication.
