Main goals of cooperation with EBED • Facilitation of social-economic development of Ukraine’s regions • Provision of fulfillment of advisory function of NAPA • Modernization of the educational process in NAPA • Training of civil servants who have mastered modern methods of making administrative decisions

  3. Participation of EBED Project in modernization of the educational process in NAPA • Introduction of practice-focused training • Raising qualification of instructors • Updating structures of master’s programs in line with international standards • Forming students’ competencies, related with application of methods for forecasting development of territories

  4. Implementation of new educational disciplines • In the module of master’s programs for civil servants – State Administration, Regional Administration, Public Administration • In the structure of master’s programs of the direction Administrative Management • In the structure of courses for raising qualification of civil servants (regional centers for raising qualification)

  5. Level of implementation into the educational process • 1st level–updating existing modules (chair) –done • 2nd level –creation of new specializations (Academy) –in the process of development –New specialization - International Public Administration • 3rd level –updating state standards (Ministry of Education and Science included NAPA representatives into a working group on development of a new structure of state standards for higher education according to the National Qualification Framework)

New opportunities for use • Training of students of Presidential human resources reserve“New Elite of the Nation” • Creation of distance learning courses for master’s programs and raising qualification (NAPA is recognized as a key partner of the World Bank e-Institute) • International project on introduction of a double diploma NAPA –London Metropolitan University for master’s programs Public Administration and State Management in Healthcare Sector • Training of foreign students
