  2. nearpod: Tips, page 1 of 4 If you can’t finish a session in one day, you can pick up where you left off. Launch the nearpod again and use the slide sorter to go to the next slide! With the paid version, you can email an absent student the nearpod and they can do a self-paced lesson on their own. 3. nearpod: Tips, page 2 of 4 Once you make a template that doesn’t need “tweaking”, you should just do a “save as” and use the same size fonts. 4. nearpod: Tips, page 3 of 4 To avoid, recreating the same drawings, do a “save as” on the previous file and delete the slides you don’t need. It’s a time saver! Student sign-in: For partners, they can each put in two initials (first initial of first name and first initial of last name). They don’t need to enter a student ID. Number the pages of your PowerPoint. Use a Footer. nearpod tips

  5. nearpod: Tips, page 4 of 4 If you are writing down equations, vertically like 345 + 87, I suggest you do a separate text box for each digit and line up the numbers that way. It will possibly save you a lot of editing in the future. During a session after an interactive slide like “draw it” or “open ended”, you can share student responses with everyone once they submit their response. Tap on the image and “share”. If you are sharing nearpods with colleagues and they aren’t receiving them, check: spam.campbellusd.org. Login with your Campbell User ID and password. You may need to “whitelist” nearpod emails. Google Chrome seems to have less issues than Safari. nearpod tips
