  3. WHAT IS DISTRACTIVE DRIVING? • Any activity that could divert a person’s attention away from the primary task of driving. • ALL distractions endanger driver, passenger, and bystander safety

  4. Distracted Driving • Driver distractions leading factor in fatal and serious injury crashes • In 2008, 28% of all crashes attributable to cell phones • 1.6 million crashes • 645,000 injuries • Cell phone users 4x more likely to crash
