  1. Welcome to New Hampshire

  2. Workshop on the Regional Needs for Coastal Remote Sensing Workshop Purpose: Identify and document space-based remote sensing requirements of the RAs and identify commonalities. This will be the first in a series of biennial workshops on the topic. This workshop will focus on satellite remote sensing needs. New England Center University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH October 3-5, 2006

  3. Workshop on the Regional Needs for Coastal Remote Sensing Outcome: A written report documenting regional requirements for remote sensing data, derived products, and common requirements for all regions. Sponsors: NOAA, NASA, Ocean.US and NFRA. New England Center University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH October 3-5, 2006

  4. Seven IOOS Societal Goals • Predict climate change and effects • Mitigate natural hazards • Improve coastal waters operations • Improve national security • Reduce public health risks • Protect ecosystems • Sustain marine and freshwater resources
