  3. My chosen Magazine Cover • MOJO Magazine- August 2013 Edition

  4. Recognisable Individuals On The Cover • On the front cover all four Beatles can clearly be seen, obviously, the Beatles are world wide famous and to include their picture on a cover will only attract fans of all ages All four Beatles present

  5. Eye Catching Text • This individual cover has numerous examples of different colours and fonts that help to grab a potential buyers attention. They also make the cover much more appealing to look at. Not forgetting the publishers name boldly stands out so readers are aware of their work due to recognition Several different examples

  6. Bright And Interesting Colours • Several colours are present on this cover which allow the potential buyer to be enticed into buying the magazine or at least want to take a closer look and see if it appeals to them

  7. Enticing cover story • Mojo was very smart to use the Beatles as their cover story as I had previously mentioned the immense amount of fame and attention the Beatles have always received Beatles Feature

  8. Appealing Sub Stories • This magazine cover hosts several different stories that appeal to a large fan base, as well as the main stories it also give an insight to bonus material found inside the magazine Different examples

  9. Added Bonus Content • Another appealing aspect of buying a magazine is to include a free item. In MOJO’s situation they decided to include a Beatles CD as it is relevant to the cover story and appeals to consumers Beatles CD Included

  10. Focus On The Target Audience • It seems as if the target audience for this magazine is fans of classic rock, and so they have tried to include recognisable figures and stories to grab the readers attention

  11. Evaluation • Many magazine company’s choose to use several of these selling points to appeal to their target market • However there are added factors within the magazine that also are used as selling points to their consumers • I hope you have enjoyed this presentation
