Situated in the town on Ermelo in the Mpumalanga Province, which is at the heart of the Largest Opencast Coal Mines in the Eastern part of South Africa. Components and assemblies are produced for both local and export consumption. Page No 5 of 10 Revision : 02 June 2007 About Brakecore QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM In markets where most of the applications are of a Safety critical nature, and all these products should conform to OEM specifications, which have a minimum of ISO9001 – 2000, FORD Q1 or NATO approval. Brakecore has been accredited with ISO9001:2000 and SABS Brake Service workshop letter of authority. This represents the accepted minimum requirements for a well-managed organization. This QMS ensures that we comply with industry best practiced. The extra effort needed to receive this International Registration is one more reason for our customers to feel confident that they are receiving OEM replacement quality products and comprehensive after-sales services. DISTRIBUTION Brakecore has a branch in Johannesburg – Gauteng, situated in Jet Park close to the International Airport, to assist with the speeding up of our imports and exports, as well as supplying and servicing of customers. Besides having twelve internal sales co-coordinators, all with access to our fully computerized network, we have ten mobile technical sales representatives who cover a vast area on a daily basis. STORES & INVENTORY In order to live up to our reputation for excellent service, adequate stocks of a wide range of products and service exchange parts are stocked. All products are checked for quality and traceability before being marked and computerized. Our database has over one million cross reference part numbers for easy references from OEM part number to manufacturer part number. WORKSHOPS & FIELD SERVICE Brakecore have fully equipped workshops and repair divisions covering an area of over 2000 square meters. With qualified personnel on a 24 hour basis in order for us to be able to carry out any repair, breakdown, or modification necessary to almost any vehicle or product. Two fully equipped field service vehicles on stand-by 24 hours to assist with any breakdown. MAINTENANCE IN HOUSE Maintenance programs are in place to maintain 100% efficiency of all machinery. All gauges and measuring equipment is calibrated to maintain 100% accuracy. TECHNICAL Brakecore have qualified technical representatives that are in contact 24 hours for technical problems that may arise. Machine and vehicle test facilities are available to support the efforts of product development and technical sales staff, be it at our premises or through one of our key suppliers. There is constant feed back on the progress of experimental products and appropriate test data is generated in support of the product and the presentation of its performance characteristics to customers.
