  1. Logs of a real geologist Studies of hematite by Jack and Garrett.

  2. Turns out that I’m not a astronaut and I never went to Uranus I’m actually a geologists. • I was in a cardboard box in Baltimore trying to reenter the Earths atmosphere. Now its time to get back to work. • We searched for the mineral hematite Australia where its commonly found, which is going to be difficult because everything in Australia wants to eat you. • It’s also commonly found in the lake Superior in the U.S. and in Mexico and South America. Our expedition

  3. Hematite is a mineral which means that it is an inorganic solid, just like VinnyPantuso after upsetting the Don is about to become an inorganic solid. • Its called hematite because even though its dark grey in color if you were to rub it against a porcelain plate it would scrape off red just like VinnyPantuso. Research

  4. Hematite’s chemical formula is Fe2O3 iron oxide. • Because of its red its also used as an important ingredient in dyes, cloth, and jewelry. • It has a hardness (HA) of 5-6. Chemical composition

  5. We went underground in order to look for hematite. • As I was lifting one of the large pieces of hematite, I thought that I saw a spider and threw the large hematite rock at it, when it hit the ground the red streak spattered all around the impact site. • As it turns out that “spider” was actually Garrett. Mining hematite

  6. If you were to wash all of all the Garrett brains off of it, a 46 ct hematite square cost about $46.00 which is its weight in gold JK! It’s just its weight in regular money. Cost of hematite

  7. Hematite

  8. I was born in December, so my birthstone is turquoise. • The late Garrett Ritchie was born in May, so his birthstone is frickin’ emerald. Lucky stiff. (HA) Our birthstones
