Setting up a work plan – the core of your proposal • The project work plan is the heart piece of your proposal, since it clearly describes the goals you want to achieve and the manner in which you intend to achieve them. The EC’s requirements state that the work plan should be broken down in work packages, listing the corresponding deliverables and milestones, as well as the personnel effort involved. Accordingly, the Proposal Writer Work Plan Setup • is based on the templates provided by the EC, • generates deliverable, milestone and personnel effort lists, • lets you integrate all these lists in the proposal document, • work package descriptions are centrally available.

The list will be displayed in a new browser window. Copy/paste it from there into your proposal document. This allows you to integrate it directly in your proposal document.

Below the description of work, Table 1.3c requires you to list the deliverables for the work package. To do this go to ‘Add’ at the bottom of the page.

Often times different partners will be in charge of writing one or two different work packages. This may lead to an incongruent numbering of the deliverables. The table can also be copy-pasted into the proposal document from the print version. Finally the ‘Work Plan Setup’ lets you enter the milestones as required in the EC’s ‘Guide for Applicants’.
