  1. What is the importance of nutrition? Nutrition: The food we consume so as to get nourish our body is called nutrients What is the importance of nutrition? Nutrition plays a major role in one’s life it promotes a healthy lifestyle, with a proper combination or a perfect blend of exercise and diet can help you maintain a healthy weight which contributes to a HEALTHY HEART and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like cancer. But the question is how to know about what nutrients we have to consume so as to nourish our body, let’s see types of nutrients “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” Types of nutrients: There are 2 types of nutrients, 1.Macro-nutrients 2.Micro-nutrients

Let us take a summarize view of these two Macro-nutrients: It is the type of nutrient that is needed in body under macro-nutrients there are 7 classes which are as follows: ·Carbohydrates ·Fats ·Water ·Dietary fibers ·Minerals ·Protein ·Vitamins Micro-nutrients: They are the chemical substances which are required in traces by the body for growth of organs in living organism and develop them. Micro-nutrients consist of the following class ·Water-soluble vitamins ·Fat-soluble vitamins ·Macro-minerals ·Trace minerals But how it is related about fitness?? Let me link this for you.
