  16. NFPC, Provincial and County Fixture Planners Their position and functions to be put before Congress 2010, otherwise they will have no power in the planning of fixtures.

Feedback/Discussion Points • Play subsidiary Inter-County Competitions under lights during the first three weeks in January. • Should 3rd Level Colleges be permitted to play in subsidiary Inter-County Competitions? • Play the Under 21 Football Championship during the summer (similar to the Under 21 Hurling Championship). • Discontinue the Minor Championship Quarter-Finals

Feedback/Discussion Points • Commence the Minor Championships after the Leaving Certificate. • Break the link between Minor and Senior Finals at Provincial Level. • Discontinue the Intermediate Hurling Championship • Discontinue the Junior Football Championship • Discontinue the Inter-Provincial Championships

Feedback/Discussion Points • Commence the Provincial Championships in early May. • Play the Provincial Championships over and 8 week period (May window of no use to Clubs). • Commence the Championship Qualifiers in early June. • Play Tiers 2, 3 and 4 of the Senior Hurling Championship in May. • Complete the All Ireland Club Championships in the calendar year.
