Pub Hub • Jim Woolley, the Hare Inn – near Milton Keynes - www.thehare.co.uk • Pub Hub is organised by PTSD Resolution to help veterans and reservists to reintegrate into work and family life • Participating pubs raise awareness of the charity locally and host fund-raising events, which can also increase custom all year round. • Pubs are a centre of British community life. They offer veterans social contact in a sympathetic setting, provide information on local services by trained therapists, employers, housing and services charities and other organisations.

Pub Hub – Key Features • Free Registration with the charity PTSD Resolution, to feature on the Pub Hub web guide, and benefit from national promotion • Support material provided by PTSD Resolution: collecting boxes, A4 posters, 1/3 A4 leaflets, poster displays, by arrangement • Pub entertainment: support for a range of social and fund-raising events at the pub: barbecues, tournaments, fire walks and other events • Useful contact details for veterans: organisations such as local PTSD Resolution therapists, RBL (Royal British Legion), and others.

Pub Hub – contact organisations Police stations… Prisons and pathway services, mentors, referrals for PTSD Resolution, after care services… Night shelters – an accommodation address enables benefits to be paid… Soup kitchens, drop-in centres… ‘Welcome Home’ the RBL funded project, half-way houses… Homeless services… RBL local Welfare Officer – housing, domestic equipment and support… Business people in the community: support from them with training courses, CVs, jobs, corporate donations… Media: contact with local press, radio and other media… Local brewery and other pubs… Local Gyms - veterans discounts… Tic-Tac machines – funds… ‘Pint for Heroes’: initiatives to raise funds from the price of beer sold… Veterans discounts: organised in association with local stores…
