  4. The Handprint is a measure of your ESD Action. ESD action that is directed to decrease the human footprint and make the world move sustainable.

  5. ESD for Whom? • Family/Households • Institution • Community • City • State • Nation • World • Individual

  6. What is ESD Action? • Formal Education • Capacity Building • Creating Awareness • Participation • Critical Thinking • Values • Experiential • Training

  7. We launch the Handprint, as a tool to indicate to ourselves the ESD actions we take. It is a tool that measures action at the individual, community, national and global level.

  8. The handprint analyses positive impact on the three aspects of sustainability: environment, society and economy. Seven questions cover various aspect, investing on amongst others ESD towards use of resources, social engagement and awareness of sustainable investments.

  9. This Handprint is of a little girl, Srija, from a school in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (AP), India, CEE AP has been using this as a symbol for positive action.
