Improving Transitions

Leaver Preference Data is a new section of North Yorkshire’s Annual Review process for SEND students in years 10 to 14 who are leaving school within two years. It starts discussions and early planning for transitions, gathers interests and job goals, and provides vital information to identify suitable provision or gaps in provision. It allows young people to choose their study location, course, aspirations, and education continuation.
