  2. What do we Need? Volunteers • Coaches • Youth Referees • Admin Effort

  3. WHY? • Since Niall took on the role the numbers have grown year on year. • Guy McManus is the most successful CCRO in the province in regards to increasing playing numbers • We have grown from 60-70 Minis when Niall began to circa 110 Minis, 40 Boys Youth & 40 Girls Youth players

  4. Coaching Vacancies • P3 currently have no coach for next season • Under 14 Boys need coaches • U12 & U15 Girls both require coaches • The club will pay for volunteers to get coaching qualifications through Ulster Rugby • Experience NOT necessary, just enthusiasm

  5. Youth Referees • The club currently has only 2 volunteers qualified to referee youth matches • One of them is Guy & he is often unavailable due to his coaching commitments • Volunteer Ref only required when Branch can’t provide a Ref • 1x 3hour course at Kingspan to get qualified

  6. Admin Our Mini & Youth convenor is retiring. How do we fill the void?

  7. Mini & Youth Convenor Group • 1 Youth Convenor • 1 Mini Convenor • 1 Mini & Youth Treasurer/Book-keeper • Below this a committee of volunteers taking on individual tasks/organisation

  8. What type of tasks? Convenors • Organising Fixtures • Checking pitch availability & arranging alternatives • Ensuring coaches are qualified & Access NI checked • Oversee CCRO along with DoR • Attend Ulster Rugby Youth forum

  9. What type of tasks? Mini & Youth Treasurer • Bank Lodgements • Chequebook • Keeping books up to date • Season Budgeting

  10. What type of tasks? Mini & Youth Committee • Sponsorship – maintaining relationships & attracting new sponsorship • Club Kit - working with Kit Supplier & Club Council • Events Organising - Xmas Party, End of Season Fun Day, Match Day Catering, Regular Tuck Shop • Player Membership & IRFU Registration
