  2. Bayern Munich are one win from winning the Bundesliga title after beating Borussia Monchengladbach 2–1 on Saturday. Leon Goretzka scored late on after Joshua Zirkzee’s opener was cancelled out by Benjamin Pavard’s own goal in the first-half.

  3. Bayern started the match without forwards Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller because of suspension. The visitors thought they went ahead after 16 minutes through Jonas Hofmann however the goal was eliminated for offside.

  4. Leon Goretzka’s late winner saw Bayern clinch a significant victory in the Bundesliga. Both goalkeepers were called into action minutes later when Yann Sommer brilliantly denied Lucas Hernandez while Manuel Neuer saved from Lars Stindl.

  5. There were few chances in the next half but BreelEmbolo forced a good save from Neuer while Sommer tipped Serge Gnabry’s long-range shot at night post. With four minutes remaining, Goretzka tapped home from close range to secure the three points for Bayern.
