  5. Main menu isolated The main menu is called ALL CATEGORIES. New terminology in GeniePlus: • Categories • Templates • Sub-templates • Portals • Authority tables • Code tables, etc.

  9. Editing in the Catalog • Search for the title • Click on the record – blue highlighted • Click the Edit button

  11. Adding a new record • Choose one of the templates in the menu – Books, Articles, Serials, etc. • Click the Add button • Complete the different tabs • Bibliographic • Inventory (Copy management) • Related records – only if a link needs to be established • Click Save and Exit when done

  12. Importing records : MARC • Select Settings from the Main Menu • Select Utilities from the Menu • Select Import MARC • Remove previous import before importing new records MARC Record

  13. Importing records : Z39.50 • Select Settings from the Main Menu • Select Utilities from the Menu • Select Z39.50 client • Set up library OPAC targets from the list • Search for the title and tick the box to import
