  4. Installing TEEAL EndNote filter The EndNote filter is available on the TEEAL website at: Double click on the filter to open it in EndNote. Choose File > Save As. Save the filter. Close EndNote and then re-launch the program. How to use TEEAL with…EndNote

  5. Importing TEEAL citations into EndNote 1) Open the citation you want to export. Choose “Save Citation” on the right. How to use TEEAL with…EndNote

  6. Importing TEEAL citations into EndNote 2) Save the file as a .txt document. 3) In EndNote, select File > Import. - For Import Data File, select “Choose File” button and select the saved .txt document How to use TEEAL with…EndNote

Zotero is another citation management program that can be used with TEEAL. • Importing TEEAL citations into Zotero • Drag and drop the saved PDF into your Zotero library OR select “Store Copy of File” from the “Add New Item” menu (green plus sign). • Right click on imported reference and select • “Retrieve Metadata for PDF.” How to use TEEAL with…Zotero

Finally, Mendeley Desktop’s citation management program can be used with TEEAL. • Importing TEEAL citations into Mendeley Desktop • Drag and drop saved PDF into a folder, or choose File > Add Files, then select the PDF desired. • Select “Search by Title” in the right column if Mendeley doesn’t automatically extract data.
