  1. Poland Poland is a country in Central Europe, bordered by Germany to the west; the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south; Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania to the east; and the Baltic Sea and Kaliningrad Oblast, a Russian exclave, to the north.

  2. VoivodeshipsofPoland Poland has 16 voivodeships. Limanowa, our partner town in the Comenius Project is a small town in the South-east in Malopolskie or Lesser Poland. Its capital is Kraków.

  4. The Flag The flag of Poland is in use from the start of the XX century and is composed of two horizontal stripes: white the superior and red the lower. There is the national coat of arms in the center of the white band.

  5. Tourism Poland is a major part of the global tourism market and is currently experiencing an upward trend in its number of visitors. Tourism in Poland contributes to the country's overall economy and makes up a relatively large proportion of the country's service market. Economy Poland's high-income economy is considered to be one of the healthiest of the post-Communist countries and is currently one of the fastest growing within the EU.
