  3. RESPONSES • Big thank you to all those Networks who completed questionnaires • 20 Networks responded • 18 Networks completed the questionnaire

  5. RESULTS • 14 MDT centres cover oesophago-gastric and pancreatic cancers • 11 MDT centres have designated administrative support • 17 Cancer units have a diagnostic MDT

  8. RESULTSPatients referred from Unit to Centre • 11% referred using a proforma • 44% referred via the telephone • 55% presented at MDM • 38% referred via other methods including letters, faxes and electronic instructions

  9. RESULTSTreatment Decisions • 14 Networks record treatment decisions in patients notes from which: • 30% - Doctors relayed treatment decisions to patients • 23% - Treatment decisions given at next clinic • 46% - CNS advises patients • With 30% of Networks use a combination of the above three
