  4. February 2013 ISG endorses Review of the Guidelines Mandate: To review the existing INSARAG Guidelines, taking into account both policy and technical issues INSARAG Steering Group Meeting, 7-8 February 2013, Geneva

  5. Final Product • Easy reference for policy and decision makers as well as USAR Teams for training, preparedness and field operations • Quick and easy access to the right information • Exploring development of suitable applications for smartphones and other devices

  6. Guidelines Review Process Key Considerations • Extensive Worldwide Consultations, including OCHA, IFRC, NGO’s • Ownership of the Guidelines at all levels within the INSARAG Network • Discussions led by GRG Chair and regional GRG members at various INSARAG meetings and online platforms

INSARAG Guidelines Volume I External Consultation Process • The Global INSARAG Network, OCHA, NGO’s and other organizations have actively responded with constructive feedback to Volume I. • The GRG Chair and the Secretariat have received 79 comments from 16 Member States (official response), and OCHA, including NGO’s

  23. Feedback – preguntas claves Esta bien el formato del documento? Cuáles son las sugerencias para las diversas maneras de diseminación? (copia, aplicaciones, pdf. Etc?= Requerimientos de traducción de las Guías? Cuáles son las plataformas para la familiarización con las Guías revisadas en el 2015? (talleres de familiarización, ejercicios regionales, plataformas internet, etc) Cuál es el rol del Grupo regional en puntos 7 y 8? Será algo que el Grupo regional puede liderar?
