  12. What happens, if the card is lost? • Thosewishingtorequest a cardcan do itbyapplyingtothebodyissuingthesecards. • She/he shouldprovethatthecardcanbeidentified on thelistoftheissuingbody. • The managersofthecardshouldtake a decision on thecostsincurred.

  13. Whathappenswithnewskills? • Whenthecard holder hasacquirednewknowledgeandskillsandcanproveit (certificate, evidenceofemployment, payslip,etc., theissuingbodyshouldaddthesenewskills on thecard. • Anyway, thecardcannotmentionmorethanfour different branches.

  14. Who will distributethecard? • The European socialpartners in agriculture sould find a consensus on thisquestionwhenthetestphasecanbeevaluated.

Are thecards on a list? • The cardswill berecordedbytheissuingbodyon a listthat will mentionthefollowingcontents: • name, nationalityanddateofbirthofthecard holder • dateofissueofthecard • ifavailable, information on theaddressofthecard holder (will not updatedwithoutreason) • Name oftheissuingbodyorinstitution

  16. Who will keepthelist? • In thetestphase, thecards will beissuedby a bodyproposedbythe European socialpartners in agriculture. • Thisdecisioncanonlybetakenwhenthetest countries and/ortestregionshavebeenchosenanddecided upon.

  17. Who hasaccessto thelist? • The European socialpartnersin agriculture haveto decideabout the personsandinstitutionswhowill haveaccess to the listoftheissuingbody, after a thorough legal advice on thepossibleimplications.

  18. Which countries/regionsshouldbeselectedfor the test? • The European socialpartnersin agriculture haveto decideuntilFebruary 2013

  19. Whichsectorsareimportantfor the test? • The socialpartnershavepreparedthe followingbranches: • Asparagus • Strawberries • Wine • Citrus fruits • Olives • Fruit(esp. apples, pears, berries…)

  20. Who pays the costsfor the test? • Ifwedistributesome 20,000 cards in the test, the costscanbeestimatedtonearly 50,000 €. • It must bedecidedwhopays the costs: • The socialpartners –fifty-fifty • European institutions after applyingforsubsidy • National institutions after applyingforsubsidy • The card holder (all or fifty-fifty) • The personsdirectlyconcerned (employers/workersfifty-fifty) • …..

  22. Howcanseasonalworkersandemployersbeinformed? • The peopleconcerned (employersandworkers) shouldbeinformedbytheresponsiblesocialpartners‘ organisations • The socialpartners‘ organisationsconcernedhave to decideabout the bestways to inform the people in thetestregions
