  1. Blades Elementary School • Achieved all Growth Model Targets for AYP in all cells for Reading and Math!!! • Highest attendance rate in the district!

  2. CENTRAL ELEMENTARY • Met all Growth Target cells for AYP in reading and math. • 82% of 5th graders met or exceeded the grade level benchmark or national norm of MAP –M. Ranks 23rd/ 105 in the state for DCAS Math.

  3. FREDERICK DOUGLASS • Met AYP Growth Targets in all but one cell in reading. • While 52% of low income students were identified as intensive in the fall of kindergarten on DIBELS, only 5% were identified as intensive by the Spring.

  4. WEST SEAFORD • 3rd grade math exhibited the highest growth from last year to this year across the state. • Kindergarten average RIT score was above the national norm on MAP –M. 63% of students met the grade level benchmark.

  5. SEAFORD MIDDLE • More students grew to proficient from fall to spring in reading and math than the state average. • Met all four cells in Special Education - (Growth model and Original Model in Reading and Math)

  6. SEAFORDHIGH • Made all AYP cells in the Original Model – 1st time in 10 years!!!!! • 2nd in the state in the growth of students reaching proficiency in reading. Gained 16% from the previous year.
