Transitional measures (art 13) • 13 MS have replied to the letter of 17.12.2011, asking for information on if art 13 would be used • 8 have indicated some use of transitional measures • PFRA (option 1.a Existing assessment) : • LV full, ES partial(3 RBD), DE unclear • PFRA (option 1.b straight to mapping/plans) : • LU, NL full, BE, UK part of territory, DE unclear • Maps : • LU full, AT partial, DE unclear • Plans : • DE unclear • For other EU Member States no use of article 13 is assumed.

  4. Administrative arrangements • Administrative arrangements (art 3): • 25 Member States have communicated information • Ireland and Italy have used smaller Units of management than the RBD. • Visualisation in WISE in preparation. • 221 national parts of RBD, at least 343 Competent authorities… need for strong international coordination in the RBD ! • Most reported electronically • BG and HU informed that WFD administrative arrangements applies. • Other Units of management • IT & IE smaller units • RO, DE reported sub-units, may be displayed under RBD level but these are not considered UoM as set out in the Directive.
