DH Developments • Further Guidance expected 26th • No more rebasing • Tariff deflater – targeted at specific HRGs • Revised code of conduct • No activity/financial gain to providers ‘in year’ from re-coding or reclassification • HRGs to stay same V.3.5. until 2008 • No separate diagnostics tariff (hope to do this for 07/08)

  3. Potential Areas for gain for Providers • 1½ x Tariff Out Patients • CDU Admissions • Ward Attendee's/telephone contacts being classified as Out Patients • HDU Bed Counting • Cost shifting to non tariff services Application of DSCN guidance for Providers
