  2. Response Mr. Terupt is not an ordinary teacher, he makes the classroom a very fun place. But not much gets past Mr. Terupt. He may be the most interesting teacher of all time. This means the start of a very interesting year of school for Luke, Alexia, Peter, Jessica, Anna, Jeffery, and Danielle. Who knows what could happen? But out one day in the snow something goes terribly wrong, something that might change their lives forever!! What happens next? Read Because of Mr. Terupt to find out.

  3. Exploration He never guessed that the gas pumps would run dry the same week he promised to manage the family's bicycle-repair business. Suddenly everyone needs a bike. And nobody wants to wait.Meanwhile, the crunch has stranded Dewey's parents far up north with an empty fuel tank and no way home. It's up to Dewey and his older sister, Lil, to look after their younger siblings and run the bike shop all on their own. Newt Newman is practically invisible. His older brother Chris is a high school football superstar, but even their parents don't seem to notice Newt most of the time. When Chris is injured in a game, Newt feels more invisible than ever until he creates a Captain Nobody costume. In his Captain Nobody costume, Newt discovers that he not only has what it takes to be noticed, he has what it takes to be a hero. Summer’s finally here, and Derek Fallon is looking forward to pelting the UPS truck with water balloons, climbing onto the garage roof, and conducting silly investigations. But when his parents decide to send him to Learning Camp, Derek’s dreams of fun come to an end. Ever since he’s been labeled a “reluctant reader,” his mom has pushed him to read “real” books—something other than his beloved Calvin & Hobbes.
