  1. How will YOU eat HEALTHY in the Cafeteria? How will YOU stop Diabetes?The future is in your hands.

  2. November is American Diabetes Month. Only visit the dessert bar once a day. Choose either a cookie or ice cream. Only one cookie. Only one scoop of ice cream. Enjoy 3 veggies and 3 fruits each day. Don’t over fill your plate.

  3. Take advantage of the salad bar! Drink at least 1 glass of water per meal. Eat all of the colors in the rainbow. Try new foods! Especially new fruits and veggies.

  4. Visit a new station each meal! Grab a piece of fruit after every meal to eat as a snack! Get protein and fiber at every meal. Protein: meat and tofu. Fiber: whole grains and veggies. Look out for fatty and sugary foods.
