  1. Interesting Facts 07 September Queen Elizabeth II will overtake her Great Great Grandmother, Queen Victoria, as the UK’s longest serving monarch this week on Wednesday 09th September. She assumed the throne in 1952 aged 25 after the death of her father George VI 07 September 1838 Grace Darling daughter of the lighthouse keeper of Longstone Lighthouse on the Farne Islands rescued 9 people from a boat which ran aground.

  5. Well Done to …………. Finlay, Euan, Danny, Jamie and Morgan for competing in the “September Medal” Competition at the Orkney Golf Club.

  6. Well Done to …………. Madaleine for receiving her “Farming Badge” at the Pony Club Rally. Ilona and Molly for saving a hedgehog from their Nanny’s garden. They named the hedgehog Dexter.

  7. Well Done to …………. Molly, Erica, Ailsa and Jess who took part in a Highland Dancing Competition in Wick. As you can see they’ve all won lots of medals and trophies!

  8. Well Done to …………. Jack, Kairi and Imogen for going to the Science Festival at the weekend. They made lots of different things including Strawberry DNA!

  9. Well Done to …………. Jamie, Ryan and Sam for competing with East United and coming second in a Football Tournament.

  10. Well Done to …………. All those who took part in the Tesco Football Tournament on Sunday.
