  2. Through the success of the Fort Frances Food Box other District communities contacted the CVFM about help to provide a healthy food box to their residents Currently delivering food boxes to Atikokan, Emo and Rainy River and Kenora Other District Communities

  3. The Clover Valley Food Box • Will help you to include more fruits, vegetables and grains in your diet • It promotes healthy eating and can help to prevent disease • CFFB is committed to include as much local food as possible in the monthly boxes

  4. Will contain local food whenever possible In-season fruits and vegetables Whole grain products Basic healthy items The Clover Valley Food Box

  5. The Clover Valley Food Box buys fruits, vegetables and grain products in bulk so you SAVE compared to grocery store prices. This is an opportunity for CVFM to take local food to the Region

  6. Contact local food producers for product Contact and negotiate prices with wholesaler Food purchasing and payment Arrange for delivery of product Track purchases Provide packing area for the food box Provide assembly of the food box Provide distribution and delivery of food boxes to a central location in each community Provide food box recipes and newsletter Clover Valley Food Box Responsibilities

Taking Food Box orders • Customer tracking • Phone number and email • Collect the money for the food box and the deposit for the container • Designate a bank deposit person • Provide a pick-up point for full food box • Drop off point for the food box container • Track who has returned the food box container • Provide newsletter information and • Day of delivery, compare retail pricing of food box items for next month newsletter Partner Responsibility
