Objectives of Proposal, Program and OASIS Relationship • Desire to leverage synergy of SNIA’s SSIF (Storage Security Industry Forum) mission with OASIS KMIP program goals • Ability to offer first-class, accessible, modern, accommodating, private, and secure Test Facility with proven track record in hosting high-level/high-stakes interoperability and conformance testing and performance programs • Availability of demonstrated facility and support resources and test environment reliability performance – “hosting-PLUS…” • Unique source of long-term, proven expertise in conformance testing program design, implementation, management, measurement, and reporting • Added cachet of program at the Technology Center; added-value to SSIF membership – no cost to current/additional members)

Our New Facility on LSI Campus -- 4410 ArrowsWest Dr., Garden-of-the-Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado • Opened in February, 2010 (after 9 Years of Partnership with Hewlett-Packard) in Technology “Hot-Bed” Area with Known-for Security Programs and Expertise • Modern, “Near Green…” 8,600 sq. ft venue with ~2,000 sq. ft. of Workbench/Testing Area, Gated Access, Lockable Rooms, and Options to Expand as necessary in Adjacent Space • 2 secure and climate-regulated Test Labs and ~$20 M worth of member Vendors’ Equipment • 2 large Class Rooms (with A/V, etc.) and multiple Conference and Meeting Rooms • Integrated Network and Fibre Infrastructure

Why do the KMIP Testing Program and at the Technology Center? • Colorado Springs is accessible via Denver and direct, features excellent hotels, dining and entertainment • Facilities include adjustable lab space and rooms, lockable areas, private conference rooms, private offices, training and meeting rooms, and engineer work benches • Replicable process and “Best Practices” in place for testing of conformance relative to standards • Code development, program launch and maintenance, results handling • The SNIA Tech Center already contains many of the “high cost” devices which might be required for proper testing • Disk and tape arrays from multiple vendors (leveraged and “borrowed” from SMI program - with endorsement of participants) • Network storage switches from multiple vendors

KMIP Testing Program Costs, Options and Assumptions SNIA and the SSIF Enter into an Annual Agreement to Host and Manage OASIS KMIP Testing Program at SNIA Technology Center with NO expenses, invoicing, administration by OASIS • Hosting one full cabinet of KMIP Server Company Equipment • Support KMIP Client Testing • Unlimited remote access development testing to hosted KMIP Servers • Two scheduled moderated tests per year per Client Testing Company • Additional moderated tests available for $500 per test

KMIP Testing Program Costs, Options and Assumptions • Annual Cost per KMIP Server and/or Client Testing Participating Company • SNIA and SSIF Member: No Charge • Benefit of SSIF Membership Entitlements • SNIA Member but Not SSIF Member: Must Join SSIF • >$50M in Revenue at 50% Discount = $2,500 per year • <$50M in Revenue at 50% Discount = $1,250 per year • Neither SNIA Nor SSIF Member: Must Join SSIF (without SNIA base membership or entitlements) as a “Non-SNIA Member KMIP Test Participant”) • >$50M in Revenue at 50% Discount = $2,500 per year • <$50M in Revenue at 50% Discount = $1,250 per year
