  1. Maths is FUN!! I’ll prove it

  2. Can you prove THIS W R O N G + W R O N G ---------------- = R I G H T SOLUTION HINT O = Zero

  3. What about this? Can you get 24 from 8, 8 , 3 , 3 using any mathematical symbols you like. Come on - you CAN do this! Solution

  4. Try This What 5 digit number has the following features :- If we put the numeral 1 at the beginning, we get a number three times smaller than if we put the numeral 1 at the end of the number Quite tricky this one! Solution

  5. Birthday Problem When asked about his birthday, a man said:"The day before yesterday I was only 25 and next year I will turn 28."This is true only one day in a year - when was he born ? Solution

  6. Dodgy Digit! The following equation is wrong: 101 - 102 = 1Move one numeral to make it correct (Hint – look to the sky...) Solution

  7. DID YOU DO IT? 3 7 0 8 1 + 3 7 0 8 1 --------- = 7 4 1 6 2 G = 1, N = 9, O = zero R = 7 W = 3 I = 4 H = 6 T = 2

  8. Success? This is just one solution

  9. Did you manage it? The Solution . . . Using an easy equation: 3(100000 + x) = 10x+1 (Why? Well, adding 100000 puts a 1 at the front of a five-digit number, and multiplying by 10 and adding 1 puts a 1 at the end of a number)Solving this gives:10x+1 = 3(100000 + x) 10x+1 = 300000 + 3x 10x = 299999 + 3x7x = 299999x= 299999/7 = 42857The answer is 42857.

  10. Birthday Answer He was born on December 31st and spoke about it on January 1st I told you – Maths is FUN!

  11. Dodgy Digit Answer Move the numeral 2 half a line up to achieve 101-102 = 1 I told you to look to the sky......
